Paint and Pats
At the heart of our sanctuary, on the gentle grounds of Moo to Ewe Animal Sanctuary, we invite you to participate in an experience that blends art, calm connection and compassion.
Daisy, the muse for this whole event!
Event Details:
Date & Time: Sunday 23 November, 11:00 am–2:30 pm (AEDT)
Location: Palmdale Rd, Palmdale NSW – our sanctuary home
What you’ll do:
Cow Connection – Spend the first hour simply being with our cow residents (including Daisy, Oreo, Koda & Tassie), hearing their stories, feeling the peace of the paddocks, and connecting in a heart-opening way.
Guided Painting Session – After your time with the cows, we’ll gather under the shade of trees for a relaxed painting workshop. A professional artist will guide you step-by-step to create your own canvas inspired by these gentle beings. No prior art experience required — just your curiosity and caring heart.
Plant-Based Grazing Table & Refreshments – While you paint and unwind, enjoy a beautifully curated plant-based grazing table (with gluten-free options) and sip complimentary kombucha. It's food to fuel connection and creativity.
Bring: A refillable water bottle, enclosed shoes (we’ll be with cows), sun-protection (hat/sunscreen) — just your best self.
Ticket Price:
$120 per person (includes all supplies and refreshments)
$95 for Patreon members (one ticket per transaction at the discounted rate)
Age Suitability: 12 years and up. Younger guests are welcome if accompanied by a supervising adult.
Why attend: Every ticket helps sustain the sanctuary mission: to share our animals’ stories, broaden outreach and education, and continue rescue and rehabilitation work.
Why this event matters
At Moo to Ewe, we believe in Here With Us, Not For Us. The experiences we share are grounded in compassion, connection and community. This event is more than painting—it’s an invitation to slow down, meet beings whose lives changed simply by being allowed to live, and to reflect on how art and nature combine to heal and inspire.
You'll walk away not only with a personal keepsake but with new awareness of how four rescued cows can become ambassadors for many more lives. You’ll be supporting our work to care for hoofed, husked and furry residents through coming seasons, and helping us build momentum for our retreat-space dreams, our school-program expansions and our sanctuary-community partnerships.

We look forward to welcoming you into this space of art and heart, surrounded by the rhythm of cows, the shade of trees and the gentle pulse of community.

Compassion in Action: Kids & Families Sanctuary Tour
Hosted at Moo to Ewe Animal Sanctuary
Step into a world where kindness is our greatest teacher.
This special family experience invites children and their parents to discover the magic of Moo to Ewe — a safe haven for rescued farmed animals, where every resident has a story to tell.
Led by Caroline, this gentle and interactive tour is designed to help kids explore the similarities and differences between themselves and animals, while learning what it means to show compassion in everyday life. Together, we’ll connect with the sanctuary’s beloved residents and see firsthand that animals are here with us, not for us.
Following the tour, parents will have the chance to take part in a hands-on mini workshop exploring how to create kinder, plant-based dishes the whole family can enjoy. It’s a relaxed and interactive session that offers simple, inspiring ways to bring compassion from the paddock to the plate.
Meanwhile, the kids will stay behind with the Moo to Ewe team for a creative activity — painting kindness rocks for their favourite animals, leaving behind colourful messages of love and friendship around the sanctuary.
We’ll offer a few light refreshments such as juice boxes for the kids, and encourage families to bring their own healthy, plant-based snacks to enjoy during their visit.
🕐 Duration: Around 2 hours
